
Thatch is the layer of living and dead stems, roots, stolons, and rhizomes between the green blades of grass and the soil surface. The dethatching process is done with a tine attachment on the lawn mower that looses up that thatch layer. Then with either a bagger or sweeper the lawn clipping are picked up and taking away.
Benefits of Dethatching:
